How to set up your Smartphone to get email in seconds!  FASTER then any other email service known to man or woman!

In many of my classes I speak about how you can set up a "Hot" email address.  This allows an email to come to your Smartphone as a text message within seconds after a person sends you an email.  In most of my testing it's less then 20 seconds, this depends on your email host.

First hopefully you have went with an email hosting company that provides you with either unlimited email addresses or at least one hundred.  Create an email address like Hot@ YourName.com or Important@ YourName.com.

After you have the new email address go to your web mail account and look for Configuration then Email forwarding.  Enter the email to your Smartphone and I suggest check keep a copy of each forwarded email.  All phones have an email address, it's your 10 digit phone number followed by one of the addresses below.

AT&T                10-digit @mobile.att.net
Bell Atlantic      10-digit @message.bam.com
Bell Canada       10-digit @txt.bell.ca
Cellular One      10-digit @mobile.cellonusa.com
Comcast            10-digit @comcastpcs.textmsg.com
Fido                   10-digit @fido.ca
Nextel                10-digit @messaging.nextel.com
Rogers               10-digit @pcs.rogers.com
Sprint                 10-digit @messaging.sprintpcs.com
TELUS               10-digit @msg.telus.com
T-Mobile            10-digit @tmomail.net
Verizon              10-digit @vtext.com
Virgin Mobile    10-digit @vmobl.com

If the address for your provider is not listed, try Teleflip:

10-digit @teleflip.com. Teleflip is a generic service that
works for most phones.

The email is converted into text messaging with each text being 160 characters.  You normally can read the first 160 characters and decide whether you need to download the entire email using your email program or it can wait until you get to your computer.

Be sure you have unlimited text with your carrier so your not hit with a huge bill at the end of the month.
